Terry Long is a Senior Vice President and Consulting Actuary at Lewis & Ellis, LLC in Overland Park, Kansas. His experience is primarily with individual life insurance and annuity product development, reserving, modeling, financial reporting and expert testimony. He has also worked with regulators and audit firms. Terry has been with L&E since 1986. Prior to joining L&E, he worked at Business Men’s Assurance in the reinsurance and individual life product development areas. Terry is a past Chair and Council Member of the Smaller Insurance Company Section and continues as a Friend of the Council. He previously served on the SOA Board of Directors and the SOA’s Professional Development Committee.
