Rob Erhardt is an Associate Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. He holds a Ph.D. in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society. He was formerly a research actuary for American Family Mutual Insurance Company in Madison, WI, and was an SOA Hickman Scholar in the inaugural class. He is the author or co-author of 14 scientific and technical papers in the fields of environmental statistics and actuarial science, has received research funding from the SOA, CAS, and National Science Foundation, and has been recognized with numerous teaching awards.
