Scott is a life actuary who has focused on valuation, finance, and reinsurance in his career. He spent almost ten years as a consultant and then another fifteen specializing in life reinsurance. He's been a valuation actuary, a CFO, and currently works for Swiss Re on the regulatory affairs team. His initial focus at Swiss Re was on technical regulation that impacted life and health insurers and has started to expand his portfolio to include property and casualty items.
He enjoys tennis, hiking, traveling and baking. He currently lives in Medellin, Colombia with his husband, Juan.
