Michael has worked in the Pharmacy and PBM insurance space for 10 years, driving innovation through the use of technical tools like Python, SQL, VBA, software development best practices, and advanced analytical techniques. He is currently a Senior Manager at Express Scripts, a subsidiary of The Cigna Group, where he leads a team developing tools to effectively manage client pricing guarantees.
Throughout his career, Michael has held a number of other roles in the Pharmacy space, including Pharmacy Pricing and Financial Planning & Analysis. In each role, he has leveraged his development experience to automate processes and scale tools and analyses to handle larger data sets, allowing for more granular and detailed insights.
Michael is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and actively volunteers with the SOA. He is a Vice Chair for grading Exam PA as well as a member of the SOA Actuarial Innovation and Technology committee.
Michael lives in Philadelphia and enjoys playing classical guitar, scuba diving, trying new restaurants, and watching the Phillies.
