Responsibilities & Duties
The volunteers selected for this role will sit on a panel (in-person) at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX for an event with the school's Gamma Iota Sigma chapter. The event is 1.5 hours long and consists of answering a set of prepared questions as well as open Q&A from the audience.
The event is scheduled for March 8, 2023 from 5pm - 6:30pm CT.
The event is being held at the University of North Texas, and nearby universities Texas Christian University and UT-Dallas GIS chapters are also being invited.
Time Commitment
4 or fewer hours, You will be asked to arrive around 4:30 pm CT for the event which will run from 5 pm – 6:30 pm CT.

The SOA will reimburse volunteers for up to 60 miles of driving.
SOA Training Required
One zoom meeting to introduce speakers and students the week before the event.
