As a joint effort between the SOA and CAS, we sponsor diversity and inclusion-focused conferences that focus on STEM topics. We are looking for a local Detroit female actuary who would be interested in attending the "Women of Color in STEM" conference.
Responsibilities & Duties
Attendee will need to attend the professional sessions and the career fair to determine the conference's value/effectiveness in reaching minority female students. Attendee should also evaluate if this would be an appropriate place for the SOA/CAS to present on actuarial topics.
Time Commitment
- 5–10 hours
- Conference runs October 11-13- but attendees will only need to attend on sessions and the career fair expo on October 13.
