The R code examples will be included for end-of-module assessment, hands-on practice examples that will be provided in the QFI e-Learning Financial Modeling module.
Responsibilities & Duties
Participates in the development of new content for pre-qualification FSA track-specific module including:
- Create examples of R code given standard data sets.
- Use of R Studio and proprietary module embedded coding.
- Works with others on the QFI e-learning modules.
- Liaises and interfaces with:
- Module Committee Members for QFI track
- Section Education Liaisons (as needed)
- SOA Staff
Time Commitment
- 20 hours
- 8 month project with an anticipated delivery date of December 2019
- No meetings expected
- Conference calls: Periodic
- Research and developing content
Experience Required
- Must be FSA member in good standing with the SOA
- Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines
- Individual should possess initiative, creativity, and strong communication and organizational skills
