This role supports the research activities of the Marketing & Distribution Section, providing actuaries with valuable information on middle market or other marketing issues, enabling them to make more informed and accurate decisions
Responsibilities & Duties
Attend and participate in periodic conference call meetings. Provide guidance in the form of insights, experience, expertise and knowledge for research project on middle market buyer profiles. Develop project scope and a request for proposal, review and vet proposal submissions, identify researcher to perform the study, review draft material and provide feedback to researcher for the project investigating buyer profiles of middle market for life insurance, advise on appropriate forms of dissemination of the results
Time Commitment
- 11 to 20 hours
- This research project normally to last 6 months. Time commitment and number of hours 3 hours per month for a six month period including 1-hour conference calls.
Experience Required
- Member ASA or FSA
- Marketing and Distribution experience with middle income market or product development experience with middle income market
