The role supports the dissemination of research activities of the Mortality & Longevity Program Strategic Committee (MLPSC). Volunteers on this subteam will help to ensure members and outside audiences are aware of quality SOA research.
Responsibilities & Duties
The M & L Social Media Subteam will:
- Work with SOA staff in developing a social media strategy for disseminating SOA Mortality & Longevity Strategic Research Program research;
- Participate in implementing the strategy as needed such as posting to personal social media accounts;
- Work with staff on timing and coordination with marketing to release; and
- Help identify Mortality & Longevity Strategic Research Program content for social media.
Time Commitment
21-40 hours
M & L Social Media Time commitment and number of hours: 8 hours per quarter for a 12-month period including 1-hour conference calls.
