Volunteers on the Actuarial Innovation and Technology Steering Committee guide the decision-making and implementation of projects in support of the goals of the SOA, its members and stakeholders.
Responsibilities & Duties
Provide guidance and input to researchers, oversee the progress of the work, and ensure it is in line with the proposal. Provide guidance and manage the delivery of the dissemination of the research after its completion, through coordination of webcast, article writing, podcast or other support as appropriate. Expected to review draft materials prior to conference calls and provide input during the calls, and/or expect to liaise with speakers, moderators, writers or other content creator to manage the dissemination of the research. It is expected that there will be 60 to 90 min conference calls monthly.
Time Commitment
- 81 to 100 hours
- Most time will be in reviewing materials and participating on conference calls.
