Responsibilities & Duties
The Joint Risk Management Sections is seeking speakers or coordinators to present webcasts on the following topics:
Actuarial Climate Index
Seeking two presenters for this webcast.
1- Should be a user of the actuarial climate index in CAT modeling or other usage.
2- The co-presenter should be is a stakeholder of the actuarial climate index project.
Risk Underlying GDPR and other Data Management Issues
The section is seeking a presenter to speak on this topic.
Proposals for the webcast are welcome – please attach supporting documentation on application.
Emerging Risk
Seeking a presenter to speak on the usage of The SOA Survey of Emerging Risk/ SONAR report by companies.
Preferred attributes for this role include:
- Enthusiastic volunteer
- General understanding of presentation topic
- Willingness to share experience and develop presentation skills
Terms of Service
Webcasts will be scheduled sometime between 6/1/18 and 12/31/19
Time Commitment
5-10 hours
Experience Required
SOA member or SOA non-member, including members of another actuarial organization with at least two years of work experience.
