The panelists will be part of a 50-minute concurrent session at the Gamma Iota Sigma annual meeting in Charlotte, NC on the future of the actuarial profession.
Responsibilities & Duties
Up to three SOA members will speak on a panel at the Gamma Iota Sigma (The Insurance Industry's Premier Collegiate Talent Pipeline; https://www.gammaiotasigma.org/about) Annual Meeting on September 29, 2022 in Charlotte, NC. The session is titled "The Future of the Actuarial Profession" and will be moderated by an SOA staff member.
Time Commitment
- 4 or fewer hours
- The session is 50 minutes long (2:00 - 2:50 PM) so volunteers will need to arrive and be prepared at least 30 minutes before the session.
Experience Required
- Member ASA or FSA
- Volunteers must be within 60 minutes (driving) of the conference (Charlotte, NC). ONLY APPLY IF YOU LIVE IN THE CHARLOTTE AREA.
