The Society of Actuaries, Casualty Actuarial Society, International Association of Black Actuaries, Organization of Latino Actuaries and the Actuarial Foundation are planning to regularly host high school actuarial days in various locations in 2019. If you are interested in volunteering the day of the event, please indicate your interest so you may be contacted in the future when an event is held in your area.
Responsibilities & Duties
You will serve as the first connection many students have to the actuarial field. As the table leader, you will guide a group of students through some problem-solving sessions while sharing your love of the profession.
Time Commitment
- 5–10 hours
- The day typically runs from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm
