This role supports the education and credential activities of the SOA, continually developing pertinent content, both foundational and advanced, to ensure the integrity of the SOA’s credentials.
Responsibilities & Duties
Participates in the development of updating the following content in the existing FSA Regulation and Taxation module. This will entail reviewing the existing module material and updating, rewriting or developing new content as necessary. Positions are available for each subject, candidates do not need to be an expert all three:
• Taxation – specifically with regards to Tax reform (TCJA)
• CALM and IFRS17
• Principles Based Reserves
Time Commitment
21-40 hours
Project will be approximately three months in length. There will one kick-off call to discuss tasks to be completed, then be bi-monthly conference calls to discuss progress.
Experience Required
Must be an FSA with close knowledge and expertise on one of the areas below. Positions are available for each subject, candidates do not need to be an expert all three. Familiarity with the module process not necessary.
