To better serve our members in Asia, the SOA offers The Actuary Magazine-Asia as part of The Actuary Magazine digital distribution. Members of the Asia Publications Team serve as content experts in their area of practice, provide direction on industry trends and important, emerging topics, ensuring appropriate coverage for the region.
Responsibilities & Duties
Following are some ideas for team member contributions:
- Procure authors for feature articles
- Act as liaison with authors as they write articles
- Provide members in Asia with useful, timely, innovative information and resources to help them succeed in actuarial science and beyond
- Provide engagement opportunities for Actuaries in Asia
- Review articles, solicited or unsolicited, submitted for inclusion in the magazine.
- Serve as technical editor in area of expertise, as well as provide non-technical review of content outside of area of expertise to ensure content is understandable to general readership

Must be a Member ASA or FSA
