How does this role benefit the work of the organization and the profession? *

Volunteers will serve as table leads for for a high school student-facing event. This event is under the Be An Actuary brand, which is a joint effort between the SOA and CAS to grow the pipeline of students in the actuarial profession.

Responsibilities & Duties *

Volunteers will serve as table leads for a group of around 8 high school students. Volunteers will talk about and answer questions about the profession and help students work through math problems and games.

5 to 10 hours

Agenda is still being finalized, but plan for roughly 9am - 1pm on Monday, March 6 at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
