Description
The Assumption Development and Governance subgroup of the Modeling Section seeks presenters at subgroup/section webinars, target one per quarter. We are open to any topic relevant for the subgroup, with the following being the top areas of interest for 2019:
- Assumption databases and documentation
2. Assumption governance and org structures
3. Experience study techniques
4. Development and use cases of predictive models
5. Regulations, SOPs, and professional guidance
6. Accessing and using external data sources, and credibility theory
Responsibilities & Duties
- Participate in a webcast regarding topic mentioned in description
- Knowledgeable on the webcast topics
- Provide knowledge pertinent topics
- Develop presentation materials
- Be comfortable with responding to questions from the webcast audience
Time Commitment
- 5-10 hours
- Time commitment consists of any desired research on the topic, development of the webcast, one or two prep calls with the webcast host and the actual presentation time. Depending on these factors, actual time commitment may be lower or higher than listed above.
Experience Required
- Must be a reliable source of knowledge and information on specific subject matter
- Must be comfortable with presenting in an online environment and, with the host, dealing with any issues that may arise as part of this technology
