As part of the SOA commitment to increasing diversity in the profession, we are sponsoring a booth at the upcoming American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) annual meeting. The career fair will be Friday, October 5 from 9am to 5pm.
Responsibilities & Duties
Volunteers will be asked to talk one-on-one with candidates and students in an exhibit hall environment. Questions will range from the ASA exams to obtaining a job in the industry. Materials and handouts will be provided to give to interested students.
Time Commitment
- 4 or fewer hours
- One-time volunteer opportunity.
Experience Required
Member, Non-Member or Candidate
Familiarity with the ASA exams and obtaining an actuarial position
