As part of the professional development support provided to candidates on their actuarial pathway, the SOA regularly hosts focused Candidate Connect events. We are looking for break-out session presenters for our next event in Philadelphia on April 12th.
Responsibilities & Duties
Presenters will have 60 minutes to present on a topic of their choice. Popular candidate topics in the past have included predictive analytics, transitioning from an intern to a full-time employee, and InsurTech. A screen, projector and podium will be provided.
Time Commitment
- Up to 4 hours
- All presenters will have a minimum 60-minute session. If a presenter would like multiple sessions, please indicate that in the application.
