Guiding research on new technology topics so actuaries can learn about them and incorporate them into their practice.

Responsibilities & Duties

The Actuarial Innovation and Technology Program Steering Committee guides SOA research on topics where new technologies intersect with the work of the actuarial profession.  The committee will direct the activities of the program, assist in selecting topics for research, give guidance in communicating and disseminating results and helping incorporate projects into professional development activities of the SOA

Time Commitment 

Approximately 1-2 hours per month

Experience Required

Moderate experience working with technologies that are used by the actuarial profession
