Responsibilities & Duties
This role supports the SOA's professional development activities by evaluating whether continuing education opportunities qualify for EA credit based on the session description, helping to maintain the SOA's status as a recognized qualifying sponsor by the Joint Board for Enrollment of Actuaries.
Time Commitment - Description *
Estimate 11-20 hours over the course of a year. After a virtual training session, webcast descriptions will be reviewed via email as they are submitted, requiring a conversation among the group only if there is no clear concensus. Similarly SOA meeting session descriptions will require a conversation for only those sessions for which there is not a clear concensus.
