Candidate Connect is an event tailored for actuarial candidates pursuing the ASA designation (students, career changers, job seekers, and entry-level actuaries), and provides opportunities for candidates to connect with the actuarial community—SOA members, fellow candidates, and employer representatives.
We are seeking presenters to host a 60-minute afternoon break-out session at the upcoming SOA Candidate Connect event on May 26, 2023 in Chicago.
Responsibilities & Duties
Each break-out session is meant to share insights from the industry and equip candidates with the knowledge needed to launch and sustain a rewarding and successful actuarial career.
Time Commitment
- Up to 4 hours
- Presentation will be 60 minutes in length - though presenters are invited to stay for a networking reception following the break-out sessions
