What professional benefits will a volunteer gain from this role?
Volunteers will strengthen their coaching and communication skills by providing resume feedback to aspiring actuaries. They will gain experience mentoring candidates, expand their professional network, and support the development of the next generation of actuarial professionals.
Responsibilities & Duties
Volunteers will be paired with one or two candidates attending the SOA Candidate Connect ImpACT Conference on Monday, October 26th, from 3:35 to 4:50 p.m., to review their resumes. The Engagement team will equip volunteers with resources, including guiding questions and best-practice tips for conducting effective resume reviews.
