Responsibilities & Duties
The Joint Board is seeking Enrolled Actuaries (EA) to write questions/solutions for the EA-2F Exam that is offered once a year.
The responsibilities and duties will include:
- Write 7-10 problems/solutions for EA-2F based on pre-assigned topics and designated multiple choice or true/false by topic during the August-October timeframe
- Review problems/solutions of another writer designated by the EA-2F chair during the August-October timeframe
- Expected to attend a two-day meeting in early to mid-November to go over written problems/solutions with chair and other writers
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with the SOA Education Confidentiality Agreement
Writers also earn core CE credit for their EA renewal
Time Commitment
- Approximately 21 to 40 hours prior to November meeting
- Travel and attendance at November writing committee meeting
