This role supports the SOA’s efforts to advance inclusion, equity, and diversity across the actuarial profession. Committee members contribute to developing strategies, programs, and metrics that strengthen the diversity of the candidate pipeline and membership base. By advising on best practices, tracking demographic insights, and supporting initiatives, this role helps ensure the profession remains inclusive, relevant, and positioned for long-term growth.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Collaborate with D&I subject matter experts, members, and partners to inform DEI strategy
  • Advise on best practices for monitoring diversity metrics across candidates, members, and leadership
  • Provide oversight and reporting on inclusion and diversity initiatives
  • Track and report demographic insights to SOA leadership
  • Support research, program development, and implementation through working groups
