The University of North Carolina- Charlotte will be hosting an actuarial career fair on October 5th. As a supporter of the event, the SOA will be hosting an informational table during the afternoon career fair.
Responsibilities & Duties
Volunteers will be asked to talk one-on-one with candidates and students in an exhibit hall environment. Questions will range from the ASA exams to obtaining a job in the industry. Materials and handouts will be provided to give to interested students.
Time Commitment
- 4 or fewer hours
- One-time volunteer opportunity.
Experience Required
- Member ASA or FSA
- Familiarity with the ASA exams and obtaining an actuarial position.

Travel Required
North Carolina (Charlotte) local residents.
