How does this role benefit the work of the organization and the profession?           

The Chicago High School Actuarial Day introduces local students to the actuarial profession. As a volunteer, you will sit with the students during the event on November 20th and help them problem solve and learn more about your daily work. 

Responsibilities & Duties

Interact and talk about your profession and career path with a table of 8 local high school students from diverse populations and areas of Chicago. 

Time Commitment

  • 5–10 hours
  • The day typically runs from 8am to 2pm

Member, Non-Member or Candidate

U.S. Only 

Travel Required

Event is held at DePaul University - Lincoln Park Campus, Chicago, IL - travel expenses will not be reimbursed 

SOA Training Required

Phone training sessions (1 hour) will be provided.
