• Identify strategic approaches to increasing equity, inclusion, and diversity in the actuarial profession and candidate pipeline and implement them through the working groups; • Develop short- and long-term goals with metrics for success within each working group objective; • Identify and work with leading D&I subject matter experts including but not limited to SOA and CAS members, candidates, and employers, to advise on D&I strategy; • Work with partner organizations and affinity groups, such as the International Association of Black Actuaries (IABA), Organization of Latino Actuaries (OLA), Actuarial Foundation, and Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS), on diversity and inclusion projects; • Advise on best practices for each sponsoring organization to monitor candidate, member, and leadership demographics related to diversity; • Provide oversight and reporting of the actuarial profession’s inclusion and diversity activities to members, candidates, and the Boards of each sponsoring organization; • Track and report on member demographics related to diversity to members, candidates, and the Boards of each sponsoring organization; • Implement programs and campaigns through working groups and staff.
