Candidate Connect provides opportunities for candidates (students, career changers, job seekers, and entry-level actuaries) to connect with the actuarial community—SOA members, fellow candidates, local actuarial clubs and employer representatives.
Responsibilities & Duties
Actuarial employers are invited to join us at the SOA Candidate Connect Event Charlotte - an exciting gathering to connect candidates with their local actuarial community. An exhibit table provides the greatest brand exposure and most meaningful opportunities for conversations with candidates.
Opportunities for employers (1-3 representatives) to engage with SOA candidates include:
- Actuarial Career Panel Session (11:00 AM-12:00 PM)
- Networking Luncheon (12:00–1:30 PM)
- Break-Out Session Presentation (1:30–2:30 PM and 2:45-3:45 PM) 6 available
- Networking Reception and Exhibit (4:00–5:00 PM)
There’s NO fee charged for a company’s participation as part of the Career Panel, in the Networking Luncheon, as a Session presenter, or as an Exhibitor during the Networking Reception.
Employers interested in participating should apply before May 18, 2018.
