How does this role benefit the work of the organization and the profession?

Be An Actuary.org hosts virtual high school actuarial events - introducing a new generation to the profession. Program volunteers allow the students to meet actuaries "virtually" to learn more about the profession.

Volunteer actuaries will virtually meet and lead advanced math students through actuarial problem-solving experiences. All volunteers should be ready to talk about their path to becoming an actuary, what they like about the profession, and why a high-school student should consider the career.

Tuesday, February 1, 11:30 a.m. EST (45 min)

Wednesday, February 9, 7:00 p.m. EST (60 min)

Thursday, February 17, 3:00 p.m. EST (45 min)
