This role supports the SOA’s professional development (PD) programs to empower actuaries and their employers now and in the future by providing a PD program focused on current and forward-looking technical and non-technical content and by
making appropriate use of different instructional technologies and delivery modes to assure timely, broad access to PD programs.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Participate in monthly meetings
• Identify, document, and facilitate the execution of the SOA’s PD program portfolio and curriculum.
• Ensure the PD curriculum and program offerings support the SOA’s DEI strategy in content, delivery, and choice of topics and presenters
• Assess and monitor emerging actuarial topics and employer needs and provide support for the development of educational content to fulfill those needs.

• Monthly virtual committee meetings (60-90 min)
• Opportunity for bi-annual in-person committee meetings/with virtual option
