David (he/him) is an accomplished Actuary with roughly a decade of experience in the insurance industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Middle Tennessee State University, and he is both a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Throughout his career, David has developed a deep understanding of risk management, actuarial modeling, insurance pricing, product development, and valuation. His expertise lies in health insurance — predominantly Medicare and Medicaid lines of business — working on aligning goals between payers and providers in an effort to create a better healthcare experience for everyone.
In addition to his professional achievements, David is an active member of the actuarial community and serves in various capacities as a volunteer for the Society of Actuaries. He is a mentor to aspiring actuaries and is passionate about helping others succeed in the profession. David champions and advocates for an inclusive and equitable work culture, as he firmly believes that the best work is produced when everyone feels supported to be their fully-authentic self. In his free time, you can find him performing music, playing volleyball and cornhole, and traveling to Miami Beach as frequently as possible.
