Mitch is the head of model governance at Fannie Mae. Prior to that, he led Prudential’s actuarial model management and controls function, and held various modeling, assumption setting, and pricing/product development roles for other firms. Mitch is an active volunteer in the actuarial field, having chaired the SOA leadership and development section and served as president of the Actuaries’ Club of Hartford & Springfield. He writes articles and presents frequently on the importance of leadership and development topics for actuaries, strategies for effective communication, and other technical topics. Mitch lives in northwestern Connecticut with his wife, daughter, and three dogs.
