Tony Phipps, FSA, MAAA graduated from Minot State University in 1989 with a degree in mathematics. Tony’s entire career has been with State Farm Life Insurance Company. During his years at State Farm, he has gained experience in life pricing/product development, life valuation, individual health valuation and pricing. Current responsibilities include experience studies and assumptions, mortality/underwriting research, and life insurance company and product taxation. Tony is an active volunteer with industry work, participating in various projects with the SOA. He is currently a member of the Research Executive Committee, and Chair of the Individual Life Experience Committee.
