Coco Li is an actuary with the Louisville office of Humana, Inc. She joined the company in 2013. Coco works in the Office of The Chief Actuary, supporting valuation of reserve and liability for the health lines of business. Coco is deeply involved with monthly IBNR reserve setting for Humana Inc. Manages over $1Billion reserves for Humana’s Medicare Supplement, Medicaid, Commercial Small and Large Group, and Specialty business.
Coco works closely with Statutory Financial Reporting team on orange/blue blank filings for various pages and exhibits. Coco also has significant experience working with external audits (PwC and DOI) and internal audits on various projects.
Prior to joining her current team, Coco worked on the pricing/modeling of individual major medical for ACA plan, pricing and valuation for Medicare Supplement plans. Coco also has 5 years of experience working for a national life insurance company, supporting various life, annuity and health products’ pricing, rate implementation, valuation, forecasting and assumption setting. Coco is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
