Roland is Head of Health and Worksite Products at MassMutual. The Health Product portfolio includes individual fully-underwritten LTC and Disability Income insurance products. The Worksite products include life insurance (whole life and universal life insurance and supplemental health products (critical illness, accident, disability,...). Roland's responsibilities include building and leading a team of driven experts, setting strategic direction for the portfolio including new product innovation and design, setting pricing and profitability for new and existing business and managing the inforce block.
In prior roles, Roland has led the Product Development, Underwriting, Marketing and Competition departments within MassMutual's Life insurance business. Roland has also led the Risk and Analytics function at MassMutual’s, responsible for experience and expense analysis and assumptions for MassMutual’s US insurance products.
